Tatiana Hotere


Tatiana Hotere is a Brazilian born, Auckland based award-winning actress and writer. 
Her creativity and passion for storytelling has led her to produce inspirational and encouraging performing arts projects.

A graduate of The Actors Program, and of South Seas Film and TV School, Tatiana also holds a Masters in Creative Writing from AUT. Her most recent performance credits are the Netflix series Surviving Summer, The Tender Trap by Greenstone Productions, Flunk the Exchange by Lilydale Films, as well as starring in her own show Skin Hunger.

Skin Hunger - Hotere’s debut as a playwright and producer - is a hilarious, bold and raw semi-autobiographical play which has had two sold-out seasons, earning the hearts of audiences and several awards, including Best Actress and Best Writer.

As a passionate mental health advocate and grief coach, Tatiana also produces and hosts the Crazy Grief podcast. She is currently producing the upcoming NZ tour of Skin Hunger, while also writing her first book, based on her experiences with loss, and reflections on grief after the death of her husband.
